One of the accounts covered an alleged crash at Aztec, New Mexico in 1948, only a brief period of time after the famous Roswell incident. Scully's information came largely from a mysterious Dr. Gee. Depending on which commentary you read, the identity of this physician is attributed to either a real doctor, or a fictitious person who was composed of elements of several different witnesses. Scully described the Aztec crash as that of a craft which was measured at exactly 99.99 feet in diameter, covered by a material which resembled a light weight, shiny metal that possessed incredible strength and durability. It seems that nothing on this earth could penetrate or damage the hull of this craft from another world. The disc shaped craft had large metallic rings revolving around a central core, which was supposedly the control bridge of the object. The hull of the craft contained no apparent seams, rivets, or any hint of the material being pieced together. As the story goes, the investigating team gained access to its interior by the use of a long pole which they pushed through a porthole in the saucer. A knob was engaged which opened a previously hidden door. Once inside, the team found 16 small humanoid beings, all dead, their bodies charred from fire. The aliens height was reported as 36-42 inches. The exterior of the craft was not damaged. The inside showed that the craft was put together with a framework of grooves and pins. The craft and the alien bodies were allegedly sent to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Other supporting evidence of the Aztec crash was said to have surfaced in 1987 from one William Steinman, but his sources were never verified. Steinman asserted that the crash occurred on March 25, 1948, and was verified by three different radar stations. Steinman's account listed 14 dead aliens instead of 16. Until supporting evidence of Scully's or Steinman's account can be obtained, the Aztec crash story remains an unsolved mystery. NOTE: The above image is a rendering.

SPIRAL UFO PUTS NORWAY IN A SPIN
A MYSTERIOUS giant spiral of light that dominated the sky over Norway this morning has stunned experts - who believe the space spectacle is an entirely new astral phenomenon.
Thousands of awe-struck Norwegians bombarded the Meteorological Institute to ask what the incredible light - that could be seen in the pre-dawn sky for hundreds of miles - could possibly be.
The phenomenon has been dubbed 'STAR-GATE' - as the world's top scientists and the military lined up to admit they were baffled.
THEORIES RANGING FROM A MISFIRED RUSSIAN MISSILE, METEOR FIREBALL, NEVER-BEFORE-SEEN TYPE OF NORTHERN LIGHT, 'BLACK HOLE' AND EVEN ALIEN ACTIVITY WERE ALL PROPOSED.
Witnesses across Norway, who first glimpsed the space show at 8.45am, all described seeing a spinning 'Catherine wheel-style' spiral of white light, centred around a bright moon-like star.
A blue "streaming tail" appeared to anchor the spiral to earth, before the light "exploded" into a rotating ring of white fire.
The spiral spectacle - which lasted for two minutes - was seen by vast swathes of the Scandinavian country's almost five million population, with sightings as far north as Finnmark to Trondelag in the south.
Totto Eriksen, from Tromso, in northern Norway, was one of the thousands who bombarded Norwegian newspapers with sightings - after nearly crashing his car on spotting the spiral overhead.
He said: "I was driving my daughter to school when this light spun and exploded in the sky.
"We saw it from the Inner Harbour in Tromso. It looked like a rocket that spun around and around - and then went diagonally across the heavens.
"It looked like the moon was coming over the mountain - but then turned into something totally different.
"People just stopped and stared on the pier - it was like something from a Hollywood movie."
Axel Berg, from Alta, also in the north of the country, added: "It was like a giant spiral - a shooting star that spun around and around.
"I initially thought it was a projector but then the 'tail light' left and the spiral remained spinning still."
Norway's most celebrated astronomer, Knut Jorgen Roed Odegaard, said he had never seen anything like the spiral before.
He said: "This was seen over an exceptionally large area of the country - in all of north Norway and the Trondelag.
"My first thought was that it was a fireball meteor - but it lasted far too long.
"It may have been a missile from Russia - but I can't guarantee that is the answer.
"I rang the Air Traffic Control tower in Tromse. They said it was over in two minutes. To me, that is far too long for this to be an astronomical phenomenon.
"This spiral shape is unique. It is definitely not a variation of the aurora borealis - northern lights."
Chief Scientist Erik Tandberg, at the Norwegian Space Centre, said that he too was "totally amazed" by the spiral.
He agreed with many other experts that the spiral pattern could have been caused by a missile from Russia - something the Russian military have strongly denied.
Dr Tandberg said: "I agree with everyone in the science community that this light was the weirdest thing. I have never seen anything like this ever.
"It may have been anything from an exploding missile whose launch went wrong - to a comet or other celestial object that for some reason has been behaving strangely.
"If it was a missile - most likely from the launch base in Pletsevsk in Russia or one of the Russian submarines or even from the European Space Agency base in Kiruna - then we are talking about a rocket launch that has gone wrong.
"The spiral suggests the object came off course and balance and entered the spiral movement. Leaking rocket fuel could account for the blue light.
"But I know that the military have denied this explanation. So we could be looking at an entirely new natural phenomenon."

The resultant collection of conversations was published in book form as "The Edge of Reality: A Progress report on Unidentified Flying Objects." (Henry Regnery Co., Chicago. ISBN 0-8092-8150-3.) Dr Arthur C Hastings, (click here) a psychologist and parapsychology researcher chaired the discussion sessions.In chapter 9, "For their final session, the authors and Dr Hastings decided to discuss what they see as the possibilities in the years ahead, what might be the future behavior of UFOs and the development of UFO problems. Author Vallee began by asking "What if we were writing "The UFO in the Year 2000?" (p.235.)I thought it would be of interest to review just what these preeminent researchers thought of their future, albeit they were looking forward 25 years, and it is now 38 years later. They came up with a number of scenarios.SEVEN SCENARIOS:(1) "Things keep happening as they have for twenty-five years, and we keep publishing more books about it. Blum and Blum publish more books, about it. Von Daniken publishes more books, and nothing else happens. Every two or three years there's a flap somewhere. There is no visible effect on society, there is no direct threat, there is no mass landing..." (p.235.)(2) They land, they take over. Okay. They say, "We're from Zeta Reticuli and this business has been going on too long!" I call this the "Twilight Bar" scenario, after the play by Arthur Koestler." No mass landing.There are still plenty of reported observations of lights in the sky, but the reported number of close encounter cases has noticeably decreased.In 2013, science as a whole is not interested in UAP. Government intelligence agencies (officially at least) have given up studying UAP. Civilian UAP researchers continue their efforts. However, almost all of these have publicly decided their stand - UAP are extraterrestrial visitors.
"If you don't know Jeff Ritzmann, you may be on the other side of "Ufology" -- the side that believes the "aliens" are all terribly friendly beings who can't wait "to help humanity pull it's head out of its ass. Or maybe you don't support that particular idea, but are apt to believe in a number of cases of questionable credibility (though you may be unaware). Or maybe he isn't as notable as I assume he is, which could very well be the case. However, in my opinion, Jeff is a breath of fresh air in a field that is caked with so much bullshit and ridiculous claims, it makes the whole WMD thing look like a friendly game of "Clue".There is a growing number of individuals within the UFO "community" that harbor what I call a "healthy skepticism". Somewhere along the way "skepticism" became synonymous with debunking, and that is quite unfortunate. But, as many of you probably know, there is a majority of people who" so want to believe", that they either forget that an investigation requires a scientific approach, or tune that out because they have based their life or ideals on a certain belief, and wouldn't know what to do if that were suddenly taken away.And really, there are many different reasons why people tend to take someone's words at face-value without checking out the case history and observations of everyone involved, "including" those in opposition. Just because you don't like what someone may have to say does not mean it isn't true, nor does it mean that they are trying to debunk the entire subject of UFOs. You simply "have" to weigh in all possibilities before you can make as close to an accurate assumption as possible.This is part of why I like MUFON. I know there are complaints about MUFON, but overall, I think they are a great organization (I'm a card-carrying member, myself). Not everyone "involved" with MUFON may represent the "purpose" of MUFON as accurately as it's mission statement would hope, but you can't shove off the whole organization based on individual opinions or actions. My understanding of MUFON is that instead of "trying to prove a UFO "has been witnessed, they "try to prove that it wasn't a UFO", looking for a more terrestrial-based IFO explanation. This in no way means that MUFON is part of the disinfo crew. Quite the contrary. MUFON is needed (along with others) to help clean up the complete mess that has been made of Ufology by hoaxers, liars, self-proclaimed prophets, new age "gurus" and doe-eyed believers. People like Dr. Jonathan Reed, Stan Romanek, Jeff Peckman and Billy Meier come to mind. Actually, a lot of people come to mind but don't feel like typing out that gigantic listBack to Ritzmann: Jeff Ritzmann approaches Ufology and abduction claims with that much-needed skepticism I've been talking about. He has been accused of being a 'debunker' or a disinformation agent, but I do not believe this is the case" at all". In fact, I think such accusations are ridiculous. Partly because he "isn't" a non-believer. Jeff has had some pretty insane encounters - but he "makes no claims" as to the purpose, location, or origin of these objects and/or beings. It's becoming increasingly common for saucer-heads (I use that term affectionately) to label other's in this field as "debunkers" because they don't agree with their opinions, which is plain "idiotic" in most circumstancesIf you get a chance to hear Ritzmann, give him a good listen. What I could see was flashing orbs of red, green, blue, purple, yellow and white, but I couldn't make it out as to what they were! But what I'm certain of, it's definitely isn't an airplane! I called 680 news to see if anyone reported lights in the sky and they said no! I looked in the papers today and seen no mention of it, I guess my wife and I were the only lucky ones to witness this amazing sight.After looking through the binoculars for awhile I decided to fetch my camera and took 10 to 12 good pictures or so I thought because the image was only a dot in my view finder. I downloaded the pictures from my camera to my computer and well I was speech less. You can clearly see smaller UFO' of multi colors, vapor trails, and all descending down to a mother ship or that's what I think it is. I've seen many pictures of UFO's from other people, but I never seen pictures like these and believe me, these will stir up alot of debate once you see them. As I'm taking the pictures, to the right of the screen you can see a red orb coming in for a landing, it's just frigging amazing! After about 15 to 20 minutes all you can see is this very strange looking cloud and that was that, besides my camera froze from the cold weather here in Toronto, Ontario.
