SCOTTSBURG - Following a spate of UFO SIGHTINGS across southern Indiana Wednesday, debate has intensified once more over whether or not intelligent life exists inside the Hoosier State.
Several disc-shaped crafts hovering over Scottsburg, Indiana were reported to local media yesterday, while as many as three Hoosiers claimed to have been kidnapped briefly by extraterrestrials.
According to psychologists at Indiana University, the claims appear to add weight to the argument that the state is devoid of any sort of sophisticated lifeforms.
"When you have almost two hundred people coming forward to report visions of flying saucers and advanced alien beings, eventually you start to sit up and take notice," said Professor Melissa Short. "It's a clear indication that the vast population of intelligent living organisms we once thought existed on the surface of present day Indiana may not exist after all."

UFO SIGHTING IN EXETER, ENGLAND ON JULY 2ND 1978 - BLACK DIAMOND SHAPE BLACKER THAN THE NIGHT SKY, SMALL LIGHT ON FORWARD AND AFT POINTS AFT LIGHT SLIGHTLY BRIGHTER
I was around eight or nine years old. We lived on a farm on the edge of dartmoor in devon england. The event took place at around 8 to 10pm maybe later as it was a dark but clear and stary night. we had come out of the house and were standing in our garden I looked up and noticed the black diamond shaped craft it was travelling slowly about the same speed as a low earth orbiting satellite incidently the two lights were the size of a satellite there was no sound as i remember it the size of the craft would be equal to the size and length of my thumb if held up in the air. We all witnessed it, my mother, her boyfriend and my brother. The craft was travelling from north to south in a straight line it seemed to be very high up and very large. Blacker than the night sky and blocking out the light from the stars above it as it moved accros the sky. The shape was equal in its geometry being slightly longer in its length. The light on the back point was slightly brighter than the light on the front point. On questioning my mother on the subject recently, she remembers a light going up and joining the craft but I do not remember this happening. I remember the object disapearing in the distance my memory of the incadent is vivid but not of what we were doing before or after. This all took place in 1978/9 and this is the first time we have talked of it outside of the family.

A friend from the recent Open Minds UFO Congress and myself were on Groom Lake Road 7-1/2 miles south of the Extra Terrestrial Highway 25 miles east of Rachel Nevada. We had turned around at the entrance to Nellis and being in the lead car stopped, turned off my lights and used my Iphone Dark Sky Meter app to take a reading of the darkness of the sky. My friend pointed north and said look at that! We were both transfixed as we saw a glowing red round or spherical object with red fire shooting out of the back and sparks as if it were charged particles ignited by plasma. The Unconventional Flying Object was as slow as an airliner in its final approach and seemed to be on a trajectory to the Nellis base. Neither of used our phones or grabbed a camera to photograph the object as we couldn't take our eyes off it. I estimate it was 15 degrees above the horizon and close within 5 miles maybe closer. It came in from the North and headed SouthWest. They sky had intermittent clouds. We may have spent 1 minute or more watching the object. It appeared to turn south south east and we lost it in cloud cover actually we both stopped watching it and did not really lose sight of it. There was no lost time recorded. No feelings of anxiety or fear accompanied the sighting. I can provide a sketch and map later.

UFO SIGHTING IN PORT HOPE, ONTARIO ON SEPTEMBER 28TH 2013 - A VERY SLOW MOVING DISK SHAPED SOMETHING SEEDED TO BE ON FIRE
On September 28th 2013 at approximately 7:40pm, I was standing in my backyard having a bonfire with my two children, my husband went inside our house to change his clothes after spending the day working on building a deck with a friend. Our friend had left but came back when he realized he forgot something, as he walked back into the yard he yelled to me "SARAH! LOOK AT THE SKY! DO YOU SEE THAT? WHAT IS IT? As I looked up the "UFO" was right above me, I saw a very round, disk like, object that was moving very slowly,it appeared as though there was fire coming out of the bottom. I called to my husband to come out and see, then the three of us watched for approximately two minutes as it slowly moved across the sky. As we attempted to understand what we were witnessing at that moment, the best we could come up with was that an airplane one fire, that idea quickly faded when we noticed how slow it was going, the disk like shape, the redness of it, what appeared to be fire and the ominous glow projecting from it as well as the fact that we went inside checked the internet, TV and radio for the next hour to see if we heard anything about it. The object continued on a straight path North West, moving away from all major military bases and airports in the area,very slowly until we lost sight of it. Both my husband and I well as our friend were in disbelief at first as we tried to make sense of what we had just witnessed, our first thoughts were to go inside and see if we could find out any information, after doing some research and finding out nothing we have become convinced beyond a doubt that we witnessed a U.F.O.
