The Washington-based New America Foundation says there have been 350 US drone strikes since 2004, most of them during Obama's presidency. And the foundation estimates the death toll at between 1,963 and 3,293, with 261 to 305 civilians killed.
According to the London-based Bureau of Investigative Journalism, between 2,627 and 3,457 people have been reportedly killed by US drones in Pakistan since 2004, including between 475 and nearly 900 civilians.A close look at John Brennan's testimony reveals that he may consider using drone strikes against U.S. citizens on U.S. soil:

Germany's federal prosecutor said yesterday that it had filed charges against two men over the alleged illegal export to Iran of dozens of aircraft engines for use in drones. It said a 30-year-old German-Iranian man identified as Iman J L and 54-year-old Iranian citizen Davood A were suspected of having contravened the law on foreign trade. TEXAS WITNESS DESCRIBES '4-FEET-TALL FIGURES' IN TRIANGLE UFO WINDOWS

A Texas witness in Cedar Park reported watching a "giant, black triangle-shaped craft hovering above the power lines" with five windows on its front side revealing multiple occupants inside about 7:09 p.m. on January 12, 2013, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness was outside in the backyard when the object was first seen.
"I heard something humming behind me," the witness stated. "Looked behind me to find a giant, black triangle-shaped craft hovering above the power lines behind my house."

"The object of course was black in color and shaped as a triangle, about four giant circular lights below the craft all completely white in color, and then the middle of the light shot down this large beam of yellow light down onto the power lines affecting my cell phone.
"It had about maybe five windows on the front side but I saw absolutely no one on board until the craft changed directions I then saw about 10 small, 4-feet-tall figures aboard the craft looking down at either the controls inside the craft, down at the power lines, or down at me."

Driving home from friends - noticed a round orange light moving north. At first thought it could be firework - but realized it was moving in steady line and not extinguishing. Pulled over on road to get a better look. I watched it for about 30 seconds had no idea what it could be. Meteor? Comet? Flare attached to a balloon? I pulled back out onto the road and started driving again. I looked up and saw another one on same flight path as the first. I watched as it passed directly overhead. No sound, slowly moving - not very high up in the sky - glowing and orange.

In 1964-65, Airman Third Class Gary L. Ames was an Air Policeman, assigned to the 42nd Combat Defense Squadron, at Loring AFB, Maine. In 2006, he told me,
"I have memories of a UFO incident which occurred in late-October to mid-November 1964. At least one other AP also saw the object.
At the time of the sighting, I was posted near the east side of the runway, about 500 yards from the south end of it, which was not typical. Most of my posts were near B-52s or KC-135s on alert. But that night, I was posted along the base perimeter, about 50 yards beyond the edge of the runway, far away from alert aircraft. I was posted there due to a temporary shortage of dog handlers which usually patrolled the area.
The time [of the sighting] was maybe 1 to 3 a.m. It was a moderately cloudy night but the clouds had cleared and the moon was out, so it was fairly light. I looked toward the end of the runway and noticed an object there. It was not very big, maybe 25-30 feet wide and 10 feet tall or so. It may have been trapezoidal in shape, but I'm not sure. There were no lights on it and it was dark in color. I had my own cheap 10x pocket scope with me and when I looked through it at the object, I could see a very slight violet glow coming from its underside.
I was about 250-300 yards away from the object when I observed it. It was 2-3 feet above the ground. I dont remember any footpads under it, but I was too far away to be certain. I did not see it land, if it did land. I just happened to look in that direction and it was there.
Then I noticed a vehicle going down the runway-not an Air Police vehicle, but a pickup with a 'Follow Me' sign on top of it. They were used to guide aircraft around the flight line. The vehicle was about 600 to 700 yards away from the object. A moment later, I looked back at the object but it was no longer there. The whole observation took maybe 10 minutes or less.
I later conversed with another AP who was about 100 yards closer to the object. He also saw it and said it was black with many flat panels on it. He told me it took off so fast as to be a blur. He was not sure what he saw. The other airman was a short black guy who was new to the squadron. I don't remember his name.
The next afternoon, he and I were both approached by a full colonel who asked us what we saw. When we told him, he told us not to discuss any of it with anyone-ever! The colonel was not in my squadron and I do not remember his name. I doubt that he was with OSI, because I knew most of them. They worked in civilian clothes.
I had not thought about this incident in a long time. To this day, I have no idea what the object was. The next night I looked at the duty blotter but there was nothing on it about my incident. No sentry dogs were alerted, to my knowledge.
I left for Vietnam in 1966 and returned to Dow AFB in 1967. I met an NCO there, named Crewy, I think, who told me he had a similar experience at Loring in 1962. I'm pretty sure he said 1962. His sighting was at night and he told me that object had made a low humming sound.
I also remember an occasion, a few months after my own incident at Loring, when an AP fired several rounds into a snow bank. He said he saw two little men and, after firing a warning shot, he fired on them. He was a rear guard on a 'loaded' [nuclear-armed] alert B-52. He was relieved of duty at the time. We all thought he was sleep-walking and woke up startled. All APs have done that at one time or another at night, I think. He was known as the guy who shot at the 'little green men'. No one took him seriously at the time.
I saw him awhile later, when he was no longer an AP. He told me he thought the incident was real. He said they were gray, not green! Thinking back after all these years, and having talked to a lot of pilots who have seen UFOs, I think maybe the airman did his job and was screwed-over by telling the whole truth. If I was an ET, I would be interested in why these crazy people would want to destroy all life on their planet with these [nuclear] devices."

I am drinking. My aunt is drinking. But somehow, drinking makes it easier to open up about the things that have occurred in ones lifetime. The embarrassing things. The bad things. The scary things. You see, I grew up in a haunted house. You name it, I saw it. Apparitions in white. Dark demon-like creatures that resembled grey aliens. God-like beings, floating in the air as if they were encompassed by invisible balloons. Phantom voices that laughed and spoke in complete sentences.
It was a never-ending childhood replete with nightmares. I can honestly say, I never slept a full night in my life. I lived in constant fear. Mostly, I thought I was alone. But tonight my aunt began to speak of the horrors she witnessed as a child a full decade before me, and guess what... the same shit... different person. So what does that say about our house on the hill?
Better yet, what does it say about those things you try your best to forget? I am thirty-three years old and I have many friends in the Ufological and Paranormal studies. They have written books about the aliens that have abducted them and the ghosts that have haunted them. I have read them all and yet I think, what if I stopped writing Science Fiction long enough to write about my experiences? What shadow would I cast?
I have seen things so crazy, perhaps they are too unimaginable. I know a pervasive darkness dwells in this world that people ignore because it is scary to look into the abyss that always looks back. And yet, there is NO scientist who will tell you it is there. There is no great authority that will tell you that the monster under the bed is, in fact, real.
Why?
Mostly because we thrive on lies. Lies keep us sane. Imagine if we all knew what the world was really about. Imagine if people really knew there was more than one god vying for their souls? Or that demons DO exist. Or that the world was once inhabited by things so old and forgotten that their names cannot be pronounced even by the most talented linguist?
The world is so old it's scary. The things that dwell therein are even scarier. Worst of all, if you come from a family notorious for knowing this, you're screwed. You can live a normal life for a few months at a time, until the things come back to remind you that they only have a voice when you are listening. Or that you only have a purpose when you are listening.
This is why I delve into the paranormal occasionally. This is why, no matter how badly I want to comment on a topic I hold back. I know that the longer I keep my hand on the pulse of ultra-reality, the more the things from my childhood will think they can invade my space.
