I was sitting at waters edge on Lake Winnipesaukee with 3 friends(one of these people was a captain of the police) at approximately 9:30 in the evening on the of 8/7/2013. Out of no where a ultra bright white square/rectangle moved across the water from left to right. Object was at tree hieght and approximately 50 feet out in front of us over the water. Moving rapidly it blinked out after a few seconds. It caught us all by surprise as it was extremely bright and of good size. No sound was heard.
