In 1986, he quit his career as a chemistry teacher to devote full time to research of UFOs. Founder of Brazil's only UFO Magazine, Gevared has been its editor for 19 years, one of the long-lasting magazines about UFOlogy in the world. He is also founder and director of the Brazilian Center for Flying Saucer Research (CBPDV), one of the leading organizations in South America, with over 3,300 members.
Gevaerd has been a field investigator 29 years and for the past 18 years the only UFO researcher in Brazil exclusively devoted full-time to the study of the UFO phenomenon. Respected as a national and international lecturer, he has spoken in dozens of cities in his country and in 29 other countries around the world. In 1983, he was appointed by Dr. J. Allen Hynek to be the representative of the Center for UFO Studies (CUFOS) in Brazil.
The ufologist is recognized as one of the best authorities with over 700 field investigations on Brazilian UFO cases.

Astronomers Paul Davies and Robert Wagner had proposed a search for alien evidence on the surface of the moon in 2011. These astronomers had believed that a detailed study of thousands of photographs taken by NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter might reveal such evidence.

UFO SIGHTING IN DENVER, COLORADO ON AUGUST 6TH 2013 - THOUGHT IT WAS BALLOONS LOOKED UNDER CONTROL CHANGED DIRECTION/SHAPE/ELEVATION IT WAS BLACK W/ TWO LEVELS BOTTOMBIGGER THAN TOP AND LOOKED LIKE A KONG TOY
My wife and I were headed home. We were stopped at 56th and pecos facing east and waiting to turn north. As we were waiting at the light my wife spotted what she thought was a small black helicopter above and to the right of her/southeast and heading northeast. She originally assumed it was trying to land, but then the object continued in the same direction apparently not wanting to land. She thought I also had seen it, but I hadn't. She then alerted me to the fact that she had seen it and I looked directly ahead east and at a 30 degree angle above horizon it was only 2/10 a mile away. It continued to glide in a northeast direction and about 200' above ground. I then went through the light straight instead of turning to get a better view. This was on impulse as it would have been better to turn north towards highway 1-76. This was do to the fact that the object continued northeast and out of view when I pulled into a dead end parking lot. I then went north to pursue this object. Just two blocks north we spotted the object again heading in the same direction. we were on pecos street bridge this object continued towards a local gardening store paulinos as it reached this area it stopped and returned slowly in our direction and at the same time appeared to change shape and became a flat upward thin line then reformed and continued toward our direction northwest. It then slowly changed direction back to the northeast heading it originally had. It was then gliding directly next to 1-76. It looked as if it had attempted to land at one point not far from 1-76 and 1-25 confluence coming no more than 40' feet from ground. Granted we were now watching it at probably close to a mile from us. So distance from ground would be hard to guess. It then slowly glided back in northeast direction were we continued to observe it gliding along 1-76 a couple more miles. This object seemed to be under control. We assumed it was either a small manmade craft or balloons possibly but the object was not making a sound and it had a definite path unlike a bunch of balloons. It never accelerated rapidly but did turn/dive and rotate. When rotating it seemed to morph into a thin black line. Most of the time it looked like a snowman with no head and solid black. This object was very intriguing, so much so that I instantly had to pursue it. Going in the wrong direction from what I should have just to try seeing it better.

Richard Boylan was stripped of all licenses to practice as a therapist because he was found guilty of gross negligence and misconduct with patients and deemed a danger to other patients. Part of his therapy involved taking nude hot tubs with female patients who had had abductee experiences. Other findings of the California State Law Court were: imposing his views of space aliens into the dreams and memories of two patients and bartering nude massages in return for psychological therapy.
So, the State of California revoked his therapists license, marriage family and child counseling license and clinical social worker license. His practice was shut down. That was back in 1995. So, why is he working with children, today, I ask, especially after being cited as encouraging young children to trust pedophiles?

How did that happen?
Why is he being allowed to work with kids?
Hes tried to admonish himself by saying things like "The traumatized experiencers I counselled were... (frankly) homely, grossly obese, lesbian, poor or welfare- dependent substance-abusers." But, they seemed good enough for him to exploit.
Do I believe in the existence of Star Children? Yes, I do.
Do I believe Richard Boylan should be working with these children and their parents? No, I dont.
Do I think having photos of children and details of their experiences on web sites like Pamela Reynolds The Dolphin Children... Angels of Earth is in the best interest of these Star or Dolphin or Indigo children? No, I dont.
Do I find it disturbing that people are exposing their kids to all kinds of questionable encounters with people of questionable credentials. Yes, I do.

Because I was once one of those parents.
When people are first awakening to their spirituality or psychic abilities or find out that they are contactees, or whatever, there is a tendency to do some pretty strange things. Mostly its because were like sponges and just want to absorb everything out there, in order to better understand what is happening to us or to our loved ones.
In my case, I did many things. One was a real zinger and it rhymes with Springer. I wont go into details, because I dont want to put my kids through anymore. All I can say is that through the grace of God, the show did not go on, even though wed made it all the way to Chicago,
So, parents, be wary. Be discerning. Teach your children well. Theyll do what they came here to do, without any extra help from the Boylans of the world.....

The team looks at the biggest things in the sky, reports of giant UFOs. In 2007, a pilot over the English Channel spotted a gigantic object a mile wide in the sky. The sighting was confirmed by radar and a 2nd pilot, a yellowish platform-like object, followed later by a second, smaller one. In Canada and Iceland, eyewitnesses have also seen huge objects, some "twice the size of an aircraft carrier, and the show asks, "Why are huge UFOs are following our aircraft?" The team sets out to recreate the English sighting, declaring it one of the best documented ever. A good chunk of the show is spent up in an airplane, talking about the original encounter with the pilot and his passenger witnesses. The passengers who go on the recreation flight give the pilot high marks for how he reacted, given how unusual the situation was. At the end of the flight, he asked for anyone who saw anything unusual to leave their information with him.
The crew also talks to a French pilot, who saw a huge red-orange flying disc -- 800-1000 across -- below his plane. Then the object, which was fuzzy around the edges, gradually became transparent and disappeared. The show also mentions the sighting of a much smaller UFO--a rock that seemed to fly through the air under intelligent control. A 1986 Japanese piolt saw a giant UFO with two smaller ones, which the pilot thought were ships sent from the larger "mothership." The show notes that lenticular clouds, a very rare phenomenon, can appear disc-like and are very large. Sundogs are mentioned, too, but both these phenomena are dismissed as explanation to the shows sighting. The scientist they interview suggest that the sightings could be cause by a rare temperature inversion area, which can act like a mirror, reflecting things from afar, or even light. Such inversions can show up on radar. Of course, the crew doesnt believe that, either. As usual, the show relies heavily on witness reports and very little on actual science, but they speculate that because of air traffic, these types of sightings will increase in the future.

(ABOVE) At 03:30 p.m. on March 10, 1977, young Ricky Brandenburg was on the porch in front of his house, watching his mother talk to a neighbor lady. She asked him to bring the dog's dish out, when he happened to look over towards a two-story house to his right on the far end of the row of houses. He saw a strange object in the sky beyond, it came around into an open space and he could see that what he initially thought was an airplane or helicopter was actually something quite unusual, so he got a camera and took pictures as soon as he returned out of the house with the camera. He took five snapshots out in front of the house as the object moved rapidly across his field of view. He thought it was gone and started telling his mother what had happened, when he thought perhaps it would be visible from the back yard. He ran through the house to look, and sure enough, it had come around and was out there, only much closer. He got three more pictures before it went around the house again, so he ran back through the house and out front once more, and saw it in time to get another picture, roll the film, and snap once more as it bobbed a couple of times and rose almost vertically out of sight.

I have attached a recent composite drawing of the craft, witnessed August,1977--close encounter. The location of this sighting was in northeastern Scarborough, close to Westhill, Ontario.
The craft was 50 feet away-west of my position in a field,and about 200 feet high max. If I had the right rock, I could of hit it. Each of the four lights that rotated clockwise-one at a time, had a universal significance of our state. Out of the four-I found the blue one to be the greatest of importance. Blue would represent water and the sky. Today, I see both are in jeopardy, due to artificial harmful substances that we have developed and released into our environment. Now how alien is that, to our wholesome?
The encounter of this craft lasted between 15-20 minutes, before I ran off to find a witness.The shape of the craft appeared to be capsule or pear shaped.This event was my second UFO sighting- classified as, a Close Encounter of the Third Kind. Physical DONALD WRIGHT makes a thorough analysis of the physical properties of ghosts. TYPES OF APPEARANCES
Published in 1943, the book " APPARITIONS "(" APPEARANCES ") was written by the researcher FNM Tyrell and ghostly apparitions divided into 4 groups. In general rules, this classification remains in force to this day and is the primary guide that apply equally scientific and " GHOST HUNTERS ".
Frequent appearances: Under this heading those ghosts that appear regularly in one place grouped. Usually, it is not about demonstrations that cause fear and often naturally become accepted by those who frequent the site of them.
Most of the pictures that prove THE PRESENCE OF GHOSTS were obtained in these cases and surprising places and the number of tests that come from CHURCHES AND CHAPELS. Mainly the presence of diffuse images of clerics, pilgrims and people dedicated to prayer is perceived. One of the most notable appearances was photographed by Reverend KF LORD at Newby, North Yorkshire. When pictures of his church who had taken the vicar Lord is strongly surprised at the altar to detect the presence of a spectral semitransparent and hooded being who seems to see the world from empty eye sockets.
In 1935, a professional photographer and his assistant were doing shots of an ancestral mansion - RAYNHAM HALL - Norfolk, England. While working in front of a beautiful staircase, the assistant said he saw "a form GHOSTLY FEMALE "go down the carpeted stairs. The photographer did not see it but, by revealing the film, the light image appeared sharply. Informed of the subject, the homeowner - Marquis of Townshend - identified the appearance as "BROWN LADY "whose realizations are being reported in Raynham Hall since 1835. The very LORD TOWNSHEND had seen beside 2 witnesses in 1926.

Sometimes multiply locations of occurrence from a clumping factor. Is the specific case of the ghosts of pilot Bob Loft and Flight Engineer Don Repo, who died on December 29, 1972 the crash of the plane leading Eastern US company. The ship fell into the swamps of Florida and there were no survivors among the 101 people on board. From that moment, crew members from various flights of the same line reported apparitions of deceased colleagues.Demonstrations occurred with greater intensity in those airplanes of the same type as the injured (one TriStar) who had received as spare parts removed from aircraft conducted by Repo and Loft. The subject was studied thoroughly by the writer John G. Fuller who interviewed numerous employees of Eastern.These in turn ensured that several witnesses who had insisted before the authorities of the line with respect to recurring appearances had been passed to retirement or threatened with dismissal. To others they had been pressured to visit a psychiatrist hired by the company and flying books in which they had settled the APPARITIONS mysteriously disappeared. The problem became so well known in the world of airlines in 1974 earned an article in the newsletter of the US Flight Safety Foundation.
Appearances POST-MORTEM : This type of demonstration is not associated with a particular place or a particular event but with the recent death of the person who embodies.
Appearances reviews: This is manifestation of the presence of a person who is living an important but unknown experience for the person who is witnessing the situation. Overall, this experience is an accident, illness, extreme experience or the death of the individual.
Induced Appearances: In these cases, there is the corporeal manifestation of the presence of a dead or dying person but knowingly and willingly someone materialization. In the book mentioned, Tyrell was surprised that such occurrences have not been studied further when astral travel fees have received great attention.
GHOSTS VS POLTERGEISTS
Researchers topic insist that not confuse ghosts with manifestations of the phenomenon called "poltergeist". Scholars and witnesses of both types of supernatural event have said that in the 2 cases the temperature of the environment in which there were descended in a remarkable manner, as shown in "The Sixth Sense". But while the " POLTERGEIST "move objects without materializing, ghosts acquire corporeal form - solid or transparent - and nobody has seen throwing objects, although some opportunities have materialized simultaneously with a PHENOMENON of this kind. Among THE GHOSTS of proven existence were established some patterns and common features.
For example, they seem to obey the law of perspective, varying in size and shape according to the point from which they are observed. When appear solid, have the ability to be reflected in the mirrors and make noise associated with body movements. However, their presence lasts only a moment, as if their energy reserves are depleted quickly. It is also more common for ghosts manifest before a group of people to one but this does not necessarily mean that all present perceived appearance. This has been understood by some scholars as a kind of "insurance" of the spectra for the possibility that their appearance is described as " INTERSUBJECTIVE PHENOMENON "(created jointly by the minds of those present) is discarded.
Milton Torres 1957
The Milton Torres 1957 UFO Encounter is a case reported by a former jet pilot in the United States Air Force, Milton John Torres, of Miami, Florida. On May 20, 1957, the 25-year-old Torres was ordered on a mission to intercept and shoot down a large UFO that had been picked up by radar in the skies over East Anglia, United Kingdom. Torres, flying a North American Aviation F-86D Sabre jet approached the object and prepared to fire upon it. As he locked on his weapons, the UFO suddenly zoomed away at a high rate of speed. The details of this case were first made public in a release of UFO-related case files by the British government in October.
This case shares some similarities with the Del Rio, Texas UFO Crash of 1955, which also involved an aerial encounter between an F-86 Sabre and a UFO.
EVENTS PRIOR TO SIGHTING
On May 20, 1957, Milton Torres was a 25-year-old lieutenant with the 514th Fighter Interceptor Squadron in the 406th Air Expeditionary Wing based at RAF Manston in Kent. Torres was the pilot of one of two North American Aviation F-86D jets that were on five-minute alert at the end of the runway at RAF Manston airfield, awaiting the signal to scramble. The two American pilots were on standby and their jets were fully powered for immediate take-off. The exact time of the incident is not known, but it occurred late in the evening on May 20
ORDERED TO INTERCEPT
Torres and his fellow pilot were in the "alert shack" at RAF Manston when they received instructions to take to the air. The two pilots raced to their respective F-86Ds and took off well within the allotted five minutes.
"The initial briefing indicated that the ground was observing for a considerable time a blip that was orbiting the East Anglia area." Torres was then told that the object of his pursuit "was an unidentified flying object with very unusual flight patterns" and that "the bogey [UFO] actually was motionless for long intervals."
Having difficulty believing that he had been ordered to open fire on the unknown object, Torres requested authentication. "I was only a lieutenant and very much aware of the gravity of the situation." When the authentication code response came back, Torres struggled to match the numbers with those in his daily code sheet. "It was totally black, and the lights were down for night flying. I used my flashlight, still trying to fly and watch my radar." The authentication code matched.
Torres, who was in the lead position, received orders to push his jet to maximum power by using full afterburner and to proceed to an altitude of 32,000 feet on a heading that would intercept the UFO. The F-86D moved to Mach.92, (more than 700 miles per hour). The maximum speed of the F-86D is 761 miles per hour.
Torres and his wingman were vectored by Met Sector to a position over the North Sea, just east of East Anglia. Asked to report any visual observations about the UFO, Torres told ground control, "I'm in the soup, and it is impossible to see anything." High altostratus clouds and night flying conditions prevented him from making any visual contact.
APPROACHING THE UFO
Aware that he was reaching the upper limit of his jet's capabilities, Torres requested to come out of afterburner, but ground control denied his request. At that time, he prepared to execute the order to "fire a full salvo of rockets at the UFO." The F-86D carried 24 rockets. The National Museum of the U.S. Air Force describes the aircraft as having a "retractable tray of 24 rockets" and adds that "the effect of these weapons would have been devastating to an enemy bomber" because each 2.75-inch Mighty Mouse Mk 4/Mk 40 Folding-Fin Aerial Rocket (FFAR) contained the power of a 75mm artillery shell.

As Torres prepared all 24 of his rockets for firing, he could hear the other F-86D pilot also responding to orders from ground control. "I wasn't paying too much attention... but I clearly remember him giving a 'Roger' to all the transmissions. I can only suppose he was as busy as I was."
Torres was given a final turning maneuver to execute and was told to look 30 degrees to port. His radar screen displayed the UFO at 30 degrees and about 15 miles distant. "The blip was burning a hole in the radar with its incredible intensity. It was similar to a blip I had received from B-52s and seemed to be a magnet of light."
According to Torres, the radar return "had the proportions of a flying aircraft carrier." He added, "By that I mean the return on the radar was so strong that it could not be overlooked by the fire control system on the F-86D... The larger the airplane the easier the lock on. This blip almost locked itself... it was the best target I could ever remember locking on to. I had locked on in just a few seconds, and I locked on exactly 15 miles, which was the maximum range for lock on."

Suddenly, he noticed that the object on the radar screen was moving. "Do you have a Tally Ho?" Ground control radioed, wanting to know if he had made visual contact with the UFO. Torres replied that he was still "in the soup" and could see nothing.
"By this time, the UFO had broke lock, and I saw him leaving my 30 mile range. Again I reported that he was gone, only to be told that he was now off their scope as well. With the loss of the blip off their scope, the mission was over. We were vectored back to home plate (Manston) and secured our switches. My last instructions were that they would contact me on the ground by land line."
Torres was left with the impression that the UFO was moving at no less than Mach 10 (over 7,000 miles per hour) when it disappeared. "This thing had to be going double-digit mach making turns that I didn't think were possible, breaking all the rules of physics," Torres said. According to Torres, the UFO "didn't follow classic Newtonian mechanics. It made a right turn almost on a dime. The (Royal Air Force radar) scope had a range of 250 miles. And after two sweeps, which took two seconds, it was gone. And I was flying almost at Mach 1, at.92."
AFTERMATH
After the mission, Torres was advised that the mission he had just completed was classified and that he would receive further information about it from an "investigator." Torres later wrote, "I had not the foggiest idea what had actually occurred, nor would anyone explain anything to me."
On the day after the incident, Torres was ushered into a room of the squadron operations area, where a well-dressed American civilian in a dark blue trenchcoat was waiting for him. The civilian, who looked to Torres like an "IBM salesman" and was in his late 30s or early 40s, had come from London to interview Torres. He waved a National Security Agency (NSA) ID at Torres and immediately began asking questions about the UFO sighting. "He advised me that this would be considered highly classified and that I should not discuss it with anybody, not even my commander. He threatened me with a national security breach if I breathed a word about it to anyone. He disappeared without so much as a goodbye, and that was that, as far as I was concerned." The interview took only about 30 minutes, but Torres was "significantly impressed" by it that he did not speak to anyone about the UFO incident until recent years.
Torres told the "Air Force Times" that the NSA agent threatened to revoke his flying privileges and end his Air Force career if he talked about the mission. "He told me I would lose my pilot's license and it would be the end of my flying days
ABOUT MILTON JOHN TORRES
Milton Torres was born on July 28, 1931 in New York City but moved to Miami, Florida at age 15. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1951 and was commissioned as a lieutenant in 1954, serving in Great Britain as a fighter pilot. In 1961, he earned a bachelor of science degree in engineering and became a range control officer at Cape Canaveral AFS for the Gemini and Apollo space programs. Later, he flew 276 combat missions in the Vietnam War and earned 13 air medals, including the Distinguished Flying Cross. He attained the rank of major before retiring from military service in 1971. After leaving the military, he earned a doctorate degree in mechanical engineering and became an engineering professor at Florida International University. He retired from the university in 2004. Torres wrote a novel in 2005 titled "The Good Guys Wear Blue Hats" [ISBN 978-1420846522] based partly on his own experiences in the military and working with NASA.
RECENT COMMENTS BY TORRES
In an interview with the "Miami Herald" published October 23, 2008, the 77-year-old Torres stated that the UFO he saw on radar in 1957 "was not made of this Earth" and that his mission to fire upon the UFO was "just a dumb little kid going to slaughter." He expressed gratitude at not having fired because he surely "would have been vaporized." Speaking to Miles O'Brien of Cable News Network (CNN), Torres said he is convinced the UFO he encountered was designed by an "alien" intelligence and was not manufactured on Earth. He also said,"It was some kind of space alien craft. It was so fast, it was so incredible... it was absolutely death defying. To this day, when he [Torres] goes outside, he always looks up, half expecting to catch a glimpse of the prey that escaped him that night," according to an article in the "Toronto Star".

The drone scandal -- may I use that term? -- won't go away soon.
Lindsay Graham dropped one hell of a bombshell the other day when he let slip that the drones may have killed an estimated 4,700 people -- a much higher number than the previously released estimate.
The Washington-based New America Foundation says there have been 350 US drone strikes since 2004, most of them during Obama's presidency. And the foundation estimates the death toll at between 1,963 and 3,293, with 261 to 305 civilians killed.
According to the London-based Bureau of Investigative Journalism, between 2,627 and 3,457 people have been reportedly killed by US drones in Pakistan since 2004, including between 475 and nearly 900 civilians.A close look at John Brennan's testimony reveals that he may consider using drone strikes against U.S. citizens on U.S. soil:
"It's astonishing" said Jameel Jaffer, deputy legal director at the American Civil Liberties Union. "But it's the logical end point of the administration's claim that our war against suspected terrorists has no geographic boundaries."Charles P. Pierce wrote a brilliant take-down of the drone program for Esquire:

This is what happens when you elect someone -- anyone -- to the presidency as that office is presently constituted. Of all the various Washington mystery cults, the one at that end of Pennsylvania Avenue is the most impenetrable. This is why the argument many liberals are making -- that the drone program is acceptable both morally and as a matter of practical politics because of the faith you have in the guy who happens to be presiding over it at the moment -- is criminally naive, intellectually empty, and as false as blue money to the future. The powers we have allowed to leach away from their constitutional points of origin into that office have created in the presidency a foul strain of outlawry that (worse) is now seen as the proper order of things. If that is the case, and I believe it is, then the very nature of the presidency of the United States at its core has become the vehicle for permanently unlawful behavior. Germany's federal prosecutor said yesterday that it had filed charges against two men over the alleged illegal export to Iran of dozens of aircraft engines for use in drones. It said a 30-year-old German-Iranian man identified as Iman J L and 54-year-old Iranian citizen Davood A were suspected of having contravened the law on foreign trade. They allegedly exported to Iran 61 aircraft engines for use in unmanned robotic drones without official permission between October 2008 and September 2009, the prosecutor said in a statement. It said the exported engines were "suitable for operating the 'Ababil-3' type drone which are used by the Iranian armed forces as target simulation-, reconnaissance- and combat drones". VoteVets claims that drone controllers are eligible for a special medal that ranks "above the purple heart".

Rumours are swirling after reports came of an unidentified flying object (UFO) hovering over the world's largest oil refinery at Jamnagar in Gujarat, owned by Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL).According to the local police, an object in the shape of a red bowl was found circling the RIL unit at around 8pm on January 24. WHAT IS A TRIANGULAR UFO?
For starters, they are the most commonly reported type of UFO following the ambiguous unidentified light. More often than not, they'll appear to be dark in color. Typically being either black or charcoal. While triangular UFOs have been reported since the modern UFO phenomenon began, it's only in the past two decades that they've really taken the world by storm. In fact, between 1992-2012 sightings of the triangular UFO have increased by 1,838%.* Prior to that, reports of this particular UFO were usually rare.
ALIEN ORIGINS?
Naturally when people discuss the UFO phenomenon, most are inclined towards explaining them away as extraterrestrial. The general public has been conditioned into associating the acronym UFO with aliens even though the definition has nothing to do with them. That said, is it possible some of these craft may very well be from another planet. At least as far as the older reports are concerned However, most of what we know about these specific craft has been the result of research in recent decades.
BLACK BUDGET?
As mentioned previously, most reports of the triangular UFO occurred during the past two decades. With that in mind, stealth-faceted aircraft were invented during the 70s. The military as a whole has been focused on making their hardware more difficult to detect. That means stealth. Be it invisible to radar, audible noise or the naked eye.
In 1996, Shawn Kevin Jason encountered a black triangle hovering within 20 feet of the ground over a highway. As he pulled up underneath the triangular UFO, he noticed it had nine white lights on it. As he described it, the lights were incandescent bulbs. Technology that was invented by Thomas Edison and is purely terrestrial in origin. He is not the only witness to report objects of human construction on these UFOs.
CONCLUSION
To say the triangular UFO is alien and nothing else would be a big mistake. Considering the likelihood they are advanced stealth aircraft being manufactured by companies like Boeing, Lockheed-Martin and Northrup Grumman goes without saying. The bigger question is what are they being used for
Is there a purpose behind the harassment people are reporting? What does the military hope to achieve? On one hand, such encounters help to perpetrate the myth these craft are alien. On the other, it sets humanity up for a potential fake alien invasion in our future. Let's hope that is not the case.

Sometimes the UFO investigation business is pretty quiet... and then in a flash it heats up hotter than the hottest part of a super-hot supernova. And today I'm breaking out the Coppertone.
First off, after requesting more UFO Field Investigation cases be sent my way, my State Director has just handed me four cases to look into. Four! It seems some rookie Investigator decided he couldn't take the heat and dropped all his cases, leaving yours truly to pick up the pieces, as usual.
Then, due in large part to my "enthusiasm (see above) and report writing skills," my MUFON State Director has asked me to take on the position of State Section Director for the south-central-eastish section of Wisconsin, and I have accepted. Naturally, once I accepted the position I thought it would be a good idea to read up on what I had just volunteered to do. That's the sign of a natural-born leader.
Here's how the MUFON Field Investigator's Manual describes the responsibilities of a State Section Director (SSD):
"Having assembled a cadre of trained investigators within a geographic area, the State Director should strongly consider recommending one of the individuals for appointment to the supervisory position of State Section Director. (On occasion, a person with leadership potential communicates his/her credentials directly to the International Director. In that circumstance, the State Director may be asked to concur in appointing the individual to a Section Director position.)"
"As the first level of supervisory responsibility, Section Directors have specific duties and functions within their geographic areas (usually one or more counties dependent on population density and geographical location proximity.)"
"After the state is substantially organized, and given the particular strengths of the State Director, it is advisable to recommend the appointment of one or more Assistant State Directors for geographical areas and a Chief Investigator."
Okay, so that doesn't actually tell me all that much about the position. To be more precise, it tells me nothing. Fortunately, State Director Vxxxx tells me that her State Director's Handbook has this to say:
"A State Section Director is responsible for managing the field investigators and volunteers in the counties under their supervision....and reviewing investigation case reports from their area to ensure accuracy and completeness."
One word: Cakewalk.
Vxxxx was nice enough to offer me a choice of sections to be chief of: the the south-central section a little in the middle of the state, or the south-central section more to the east. I chose the latter section, which includes my home county of Jefferson, as well the UFO-happy counties of Walworth, Waukesha and Milwaukee (see map). It wasn't that hard to choose, actually, as Walworth County is the home of the Burlington Vortex, and the territory encompassing Walworth and Jefferson Counties is known Bigfoot country. UFOs, Vortexes, Bigfoots: the perfect trifecta!
This is my beat: Jefferson, Walworth, Waukesha and Milwaukee Counties. You can locate them on this map a mere inch or so above this very caption.
This promotion suits my ambitions to a T. You see all those pretty counties? Someday soon they will all be under my supervision. Then someday soon after that, the entire country will be under my supervision. That's right, I will be able to tell the entire country -- all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and all those other places we own -- what to do, and it will have no choice but to listen!

Pages 99-118 And I have never been able to get in contact with Bruce despite frequent trying (I tried just before submitting this blog entry, in fact).No matter. His classification is posted on Wikipedia and at other places. His categories go as follows:BRUCE CHAMPAGNE SEA-SERPENTS1A Long-Necked: A 30-foot sea lion with a long neck and long tail. The neck is the same thickness or smaller than the head. Hair reported. It is capable of travel on land. Cosmopolitan.1B Long-Necked: Similar to the above type but over 55 feet long and far more robust. The neck is of lesser thickness than the head. Only inhabits water near Great Britain and Denmark.2A Eel-Like: A 20 to 30-foot-long heavily scaled or armoured reptile. It is distinguished by a small square head with prominent tusks. 'Motorboating' behaviour on surface. Inhabits only the North Atlantic.2B Eel-Like: A 25 to 30-foot beaked whale. It is distinguished by a tapering head and a dorsal crest. 'Motorboating' behaviour engaged in. Inhabits the Atlantic and Pacific. Possibly extinct.2C Eel-Like: A 60-70 foot, elongated reptile with no appendages. The head is very large and cow-like or reptilian with teeth similar to a crab-eater seal's. Also shares the 'motorboating' behaviour. Inhabits the Atlantic, Pacific, and South China Sea. Cosmopolitan.6 Saurian: A large and occasionally spotted crocodile or crocodile-like creature up to 65 feet long. Found in the Northern Atlantic and Mediterranean.7 Segmented/Multi-limbed: An elongated mammalian creature up to 65 feet long with the appearance of segmentation and many fins. Found in the Western Atlantic, Indian, and Pacific.This matter came up again because of the recent reports of a grey whale seen in the Mediterranean. I had previously identified one of Bruce's categories as the same as the 'Scrag Whale' and hence a grey whale, and I mentioned that was my opinion on Darren Naish's blog the first time the matter was posted. I had first posted about the matter at my group, Frontiers of Zoology, when the group was new, 2006-2007.THE ISRAELI GRAY WHALE 2010SCRAG WHALE DRAWING FROM ICELAND, CA 1640.JPGBruce's long-necked categories 1A and 1B are basically Heuvelmans's long-necked and merhorse categories. They are quite possibly female and male of the same species (assumed by Dinsdale, Costello, Coleman and myself). The lengths he gives tally well with my average estimates (assuming female and male lengths) worldwide. Nowadays, I would say those estimates are probably on the high side for both series of reports, even though Heuvelmans's estimated lengths are much longer.The interesting part starts with 2A. This is obviously the same as a 'Tusked Whale' reported in the South Pacific and Indian Oceans, and Gesner has a depiction of it. It is not a reptile at all, and I think some of Bruce's sightings are from the New England area. There is a fossil form that corresponds to the description," Odobenocetops", although the fossil form is much smaller. The fossil form is well known in Cryptozoological circles owing to another matter, which is possibly an overlapping category, Southern Narwhals as discussed by Karl Shuker.ODOBENOCETOPSGESNER'S CHYBBY WHALE (TUSKED WHALE)Category 2B is pertinent here because although Bruce Champagne calls it a type of beaked whale, it is obviously a gray whale and the same as the Scrag whale of the Atlantic, up until recently thought to be extinct. (Gray whale is the correct spelling, I understand)Category 2C is evidently a type of giant eel: I have no idea why Bruce C thought it had the odd teeth he ascribes to it. Perhaps the teeth are due to confused reports of actual seals. The reconstruction is oddly short and stumpy. My reconstruction from Heuvelmans' Super-Eel reports made composites of two quite distinct creatures which I called a Megaconger and a Titanoconger. Heuvelmans was aware of the size difference (Megaconger 20-30 feet average, Titanoconger 50-100 feet long) but did not further subdivide the category. The two are also distinct in colouration and habitat.The freshwater Giant Eel reports generally correspond to the Megaconger and not to the Titanoconger type. Both are "Congers" because they have small pectoral fins sometimes noticed: other limbless reports of outsized Moray eels are separate categories. TITANOCONGER AND MEGACONGERTITANOCONGER IS THE LARGER, MIDWATER, DEEPWATER FORM WITH THE DISTINCTIVE DARK TOP AND LIGHT BOTTOM: MEGACONGER IS PERHAPS HALF THE LENGTH, COLOURED MORE EVENLY GREYISH BROWN AND LIVES IN SHALLOWER WATER OR ON THE BOTTOM.Category 3 is the same as the "Caddycarcass" creature, which I would say was a decayed shark (Pseudoplesiosaur).It does not help that Bruce Champagne combines this with the Many-Humped reports, which refer to a standing wave action and not to the actual appearance of whatever creature is producing the wave (Several different kinds of things are known to make that type of wave pattern)4A is interesting because it corresponds to other reports of a type of beaked whale with a large backfin far back, also reported in the Pacific (Specifically off Japan and in Polynesia). And 4B is obviously the same as the Valhalla Sea-Serpent. I do not know why BC gives it such a wide size range nor Geographic range, although I was aware of other reports of the type (Heuvelmans calls one a "Marine Dimetrodon"). I actually do not know what it is, but with that head and neck it is presumably related to the Plesiosaurs.Category 5 is the Rhapsody-type giant turtle, obviously based on reports of a humpback whale turned turtle. Reports specify that the foreflippers are 15 feet long. Humpbacks are the only known animals that have 15-foot-long flippers. The "White Carapace" is the whale's lighter belly. Category 6 is an interesting subsection of the Marine Saurian reports and what BC has illustrated is a large seagoing crocodile, probavbly what was described as the Tarasque in the Mediterranean, the MedCroc. I append an illustration of a "Great Horned Alligator" made in review of Mark A Hall's article "'Horrors' From the Mesozoic, in PURSUIT. (Artist unknown). The same "60-foot horned Alligator (Crocodile) is spoken of in folklore and illustrated in Thailand, and other possible representations of it are from Indus Valley seals. It is worldwide in the warmer regions and better at swimming at sea than the much smaller C. porosis, which it otherwise resembles."GREAT HORNED ALLIGATOR"-ANONYMOUS ILLUSTRATION FROM A REVIEW CONCERNING MARK A. HALL'S '"HORRORS" FROM THE MESOZOIC' IN PURSUITThis is NOT the only kind of "Marine Saurian": there is this type that is like an "Alligator" (includes the C. porosis references) and then one or more other types which appear to be Mosasaurs, some larger and some smaller.Category 7 is obviously the same as Heuvelmans' Many-Finned. It is much thinner than Heuvelmans' version and for comparison I include a reconstruction I once did of the Many-finned as an eel (to go with the St. Olaf sighting and several others). The "Manyfinned" is the most dubious of all of Heuvelmans' categories and all the reports could admittedly be mistaken views of small pods of sharks or toothed whales. The "Pluripinniate Eel" version does however preserve the blunt, turtle-shaped head mentioned in several reports.I do not attach much significance to the report of the Con Rit carcass, the description was most peculiar and at secondhand (or worse).So out of these additional categories I see some of the same familiar categories from Heuvelmans' In The Wake of The Sea-Serpents and some other things. The modifications on Heuvelmans' categories are interesting, although I have a different spin on them: and there are a few whales in there, one of a potentially new species but two known. BLACK TRIANGLE SIGHTING IN LAREDO, TEXAS ON NOVEMBER 18TH 2013 - TRIANGLE SHAPED WITH LOTS OF LIGHTS IN THE BACK. NEVER BEFORE SEEN SOMETHING LIKE IT.
I was with my parents and we were going home. My mom was the one who saw it first and told us so we reversed and it took off. Something weird definitely not a plane. Kind of scary. It was a triangle shaped dark black with losts of lights right on top of a football field with football field lights on. I was freaking out but somewhat excited because I had never seen anything like it before. It took off going north bound and left pretty fast.

"FULL DESCRIPTION OF EVENT/SIGHTING:" Country Lights: As of November 9, 2010, between 9:45pm and 11:50 pm there was strange UFOs in the sky. I was coming home from a movie with my boyfriend, we were in the country side of Port Hope Ontario. We saw a round flickering light in the sky. I said " That is a very bright star". As turning onto my road, I had noticed that this was not a star. Perhaps a plane? No. I followed the light with my eyes for about 2 or 3 minutes watching it slowly hover then disappear.
I then got on my cell and called my parents down the road to come out and confirm what I was seeing. No answer though. I was now in a gully peering up the the sky with an almost triangle shaped object hovering not to far over the tree line above my car. My boyfriend and I both were speechless.
The object had no noise what so ever, It's bright glowing light was not lit up any more and all we could see was almost a disco affect of blue green and a yellow/white lights around the edge on the object. We sat there for about 5 minutes letting it hover over us. I was amazed and I tried to get on my cell phone and contact my parents to come outside again, but I was unable to make any calls.
This is strange because I've always been able to make calls with no issue in that area. We drove back to my house and stared out the window for about 1 hour and 45 minutes and threw that time towards the east, my mother my boyfriend and I observed 2 sets of 3 UFOs traveling in a straight line east wards. Right over Port Hope Ontario. I'm thinking to myself, could this be some sort of government experiment? Only because I know the big Trenton air base is east from my house about an hour. If any one else in the area saw anything, please let us know.

"I did not notice the object until I had downloaded my Pictuers on to my Pc then realised that there was this object farther off then the wood pile in front of me the sky was burn orange and the object is bell shaped on top with a rim and then a lower section that tapered.Looks like some photos i have seen before on Ufo programs Not a bug as it is beyon the closet objects in my shot"

By now do we really need any more proof that aliens exist? Still, there are die-hard skeptics who think people (like myself) who have actually witnessed strange spacecrafts or may have even been on board these UFOs and/or interacted with extra terrestrials simply have a wild imagination or too much alcohol on the brain. I've always been a believer and UFOs 1973: Aliens Abductions & Extraordinary Sightings just solidified my convictions.
Why 1973? It seems to have been a year chock full of historical events and plenty of UFO sightings. Fast forward to the present day and you find that historical events are taking place, as well as an increase in UFO sightings. Could there be a connection?
I enjoyed the fact that this was an uncensored and, to me, an unbiased film on UFOs and aliens. The filmmaker allowed the witnesses to tell their stories without being coached or cut. There's no hype to sway you one way or the other, you can make up your own mind. This makes it seem even more real...and I believe it is.
If you're looking for an unpolished (though not amateurish in the least) and completely REAL film on UFO encounters, this is it.

Legends say that a wildman called the Yarin, seemingly a smaller, red-haired version of bigfoot, lives in China even today. The MQ program takes a team and goes looking for the beast. Could it be a misidentified version of some other, known creature? Jeff Meldrum suggests it might be gigantopithecus -- the largest primate ancestor. Will footprints, hair samples, and other evidence lead to a breakthrough? The first prints they examine seem to have curled, ape-like toes -- unlike sasquatch. The show also features the usual witness reports of sightings, including a man who spotted a group of the creatures. Even a local naturallist/guide once saw the creature lounging on the hillside. "It wasnt a bear," he says, though some plaster casts (not from his sighting) turn out to be probable bear tracks. The team (from the US with local guides) sets up the two camera traps theyve been allowed to bring into the country. After a delay by the Chinese authorities, the group hikes out and sets up camp at 9500 feet, lays out bait, and uses their thermal camera (for which they had to get special permission). In fact, they have only 36 hours to search -- not a lot of time in a very big country.
One of the scientists, Jeff Heldrum, brings a "mug book" of primates to see which of the shots eyewitnesses will pick out as being close to the creatures theyve seen. The witnesses pick orangutans, though orangs have long been extinct in China. Hair samples from sightings are sent to the US for examination and analysis. As usual, camera traps turn up void of anything mysterious. Footprints are inconclusive, and no DNA is obtained from hair. One reddish hair sample turns out to be dyed human hair. Still, the scientists express their pleasure at having opened a new frontier for Western crypto exploration. Despite the exotic location, this turns out to be just another of MonsterQuests standard bigfoot shows. It has the usual mix of interesting witnesses plus evidence that doesnt hold up to scientific scrutiny. If you like bigfoot stories, check this episode out; if not avoid it.

A gigantic object the size of a planet has appeared on astronomers' screens lurking near Mercury, with UFO hunters around the world wondering whether it's an alien ship.
The object appears from nowhere in a sequence of images of a coronal ejection from the Sun, taken by a Nasa telescope.

One thing that a study of the UFO makes abundantly clear: someone is operating technology that is not supposed to exist, and yet it does. Silent craft, for example, that can instantly accelerate, many of which are said to be of non-human origin, but others which are argued to be of classified manufacture. Is there a clandestine infrastructure that has made significant breakthroughs, but which has kept them secret from the rest of us? Richard Dolan answers in the affirmative. He argues that the UFO phenomenon is infinitely more complex than many have previously suggested, and that human and non-human groups are behind what we call UFOs. Richard Dolan was born in Brooklyn, New York, studied at Alfred University and Oxford University, a Rhodes scholarship finalist, and completed his graduate work in history at the University of Rochester. Prior to his interest in UFOs, Dolan studied U.S. Cold War strategy, Soviet history and culture, and international diplomacy.
In 2000, he published UFOs and the National Security State: An Unclassified History, 1941-1973 (republished in 2002 with the subtitle Chronology of a Cover-Up, 1941-1973). This 500-page history provides clear detail on the major UFO cases of the early Cold War era, the attitudes and policies toward UFOs by the military and intelligence community, and the fascinating development of the citizen movements to end UFO secrecy.
In 2009, Richard completed Volume Two of his historical study, subtitled The Cover-Up Exposed, 1973-1991, and is now at work on the final volume of his historical trilogy.
Richard has also published articles and spoken at conferences around the world. Among his main themes are the destruction of our political liberties as a result of the UFO cover-up. He has also speculated on the possible nature of the non-humans themselves and what their presence here means for our civilization. This has led him to take a fresh approach to the topic of "Exopolitics" and to develop unique insights into the practical challenges and opportunities for a true disclosure of the UFO phenomenon.
Richard has done a great deal of television work, having appeared on many documentaries for the History Channel, Sci Fi Channel, BBC, and elsewhere.
