"The term foo fighter was used by Allied aircraft pilots in World War II to describe various UFOs or mysterious aerial phenomena seen in the skies over both the European and Pacific Theater of Operations.
Though "foo fighter" initially described a type of UFO reported and named by the U.S. 415th Night Fighter Squadron, the term was also commonly used to mean any UFO sighting from that period.
Formally reported from November 1944 onwards, witnesses often assumed that the foo fighters were secret weapons employed by the enemy, but they remained unidentified post-war and were reported by both Allied and Axis forces. Michael D. Swords writes,
During WWII, the foo fighter experiences of [Allied] pilots were taken very seriously. Accounts of these cases were presented to heavyweight scientists, such as David Griggs, Luis Alvarez and H.P. Robertson. The phenomenon was never explained.

I was sitting on my deck between 1830 and 1900. I looked to the northwest and saw the contrails of a jet going east. As I followed the jet, which was well over 10000 feet in altitude, and I noticed a bright, starlike light moving toward it moving southwest. I thought that there would be a mid air collision. I could make out the details of the jet, but the object was as bright as a star. It crossed behind the jets pAth and seemed to slow speed to almost a hover. It then moved very slow westerly and stopped, then the brightness faded to nothing. I tried to point it out to my wife, but she could not see it, as she is blind in one eye and has poor vision. I was not frightenned, just amazed.

Explaining the incident
This is the storyOn May 14, 2008, an oval object with a turquoise glow fell out of the sky around three o'clock in the morning and crashed west of the Colorado River near Needles, California. The crash was almost immediately followed by the appearance of unmarked vehicles with government license plates manned by non-uniformed personnel, a small fleet of transport aircrafts and helicopters including a sky crane which later removed the object. Like many incidents of this kind, this one quickly became a non-event. So what really happened?It's important to understand that the object in question has been seen in the Needles area before and elsewhere as well. An object described as oval shaped with a turquoise glow was spotted by a motorist traveling just west of Needles on I-40 on April 17, 2002 at around three thirty in the morning. During that incident the object hovered above the road in mid-air. Another sighting occurred in 1997 near Columbus, Ohio. A photographer was filming clouds when a glowing object described as turquoise in color appeared on several of the frames that were photographed. The object wasn't seen through the camera lens at the time the photos were taken.Needles, California, is located in the Mojave Valley and is a part of San Bernardino County. It's just across the bridge from Arizona and near the Nevada border as well. Historic Route 66 and I-40 run through the town with a population of between 5000 and 6000 people. Originally named for a group of pointed rocks on the Arizona side of the Colorado River, Needles was founded in 1883 and has been an important stopping place for people traveling east to west into California ever since. It's also the kind of place where the crash of something strange might go unnoticed if it occurred outside of town. Fortunately, this crash had witnesses.The first witness to the May 14, 2008 incident was a person we'll call Bob. He lives on a houseboat in Topock, Arizona, a town that is little more than a Marina and a couple of stores near Golden Shores. Bob reported seeing a glowing turquoise-blue-green object high in the sky and headed in his direction around three o'clock in the morning. He was sitting on the upper deck of his houseboat at the time. As it passed, he said that it looked as though the thing was on fire. He saw the object hit the ground somewhere west of the Colorado River on the California side. It bounced once and he recalled hearing a noise like a thump.Thinking that some kind of plane had crashed, Bob tried using his satellite phone to call 911. His phone would not connect. After the crash, Bob heard the sound of helicopters approaching and reported seeing five of them flying in formation less than twenty minutes after the object hit the ground. One of them circled his houseboat before rejoining the others. Another was a sky crane that retrieved the oval-shaped object while it was still glowing with some kind of cables or a net and flew away with it. The crash occurred between Topock and Needles, west of the Colorado River and south of Needles.Frank Costigan lives three miles east of the Colorado River and became the second witness to the May 14, 2008 incident. He got up around three in the morning to let his cat out. While standing in his backyard, Frank noticed a large glowing object streaking across the sky. It flashed a number of colors including turquoise, blue and green. The object was headed towards the ground and he expected to hear some sort of impact noise. Costigan later offered this statement:"I thought I might hear something when it hit the ground because if it was as close as I thought it was and as big as it was, I thought I would hear something. But I did not hear anything. And it went out of my view before it hit the ground... It went behind a hill, and I waited to see if I could hear it crash because as big as it was, it was bound to make noise."Costigan reported that the object was bright enough to illuminate the ground. He said that it came out of the northeast, headed southwest at a tremendous speed, slowed down and speeded up again before moving out of his sight. Frank is a retired Superintendent of Operations and Police Chief. He worked at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) from 1978 until 1985 and at Ontario (California) International Airport from 1985 to 1986. He occasionally does special reports and news investigations for KTOX, an AM radio station in Needles, California. Frank later told David Hayes, the station owner, about the bizarre object he saw earlier that morning. Hayes surprised Costigan with his own strange story.While driving on I-40 on his way to work that morning, Hayes saw a small convoy of darkly-painted vehicles exiting the highway. The vehicles had black and white government license plates. The lead truck looked a bit like a very large SUV with a dome on top, a truck bed and appeared to have four wheel drive. The vehicle may have been carrying a remote controlled drone. Hayes said that he could see a triangular object that sat on top of several small humps in the truck bed and that it reminded him of the look of a stealth bomber.A dark green van followed behind the first vehicle and a longer van followed the green one. Hayes told Costigan that he could see men inside the trucks. They did not have military uniforms on, but after he made eye contact with the driver of the third vehicle, it followed him to the radio station. One of the trucks returned later that day and briefly parked outside the KTOX building. It seemed to be involved in some sort of surveillance of the radio station.Hayes and Costigan reported the strange events that occurred on May 14, 2008 during regular programming at KTOX for days and asked for any other witnesses to come forward. That's how they obtained the story from Bob and he wasn't the only person to call in. Someone known to them from nearby Laughlin, Nevada, phoned to report that Janet planes where taking off and landing at the Laughlin Airport all night on the date that the crash occurred. Because the airport and control tower were closed at the time, Laughlin Airport personnel cannot confirm the presence of the Janet planes on the night in question.Janet planes are the nickname some have given to the aircrafts that fly workers in and out of Area 51. A small terminal exists at McCarran Airport in Las Vegas for the mysterious airline operated by EE&G (a U.S. Government contractor). Large and smaller passenger jets and a few prop planes ferry workers to Groom Lake in Area 51 and the Tonopah Test Range, but there is no reason to expect that such aircraft would land in Laughlin. Because the airport and control tower were closed at the time, Laughlin Airport personnel cannot confirm the presence of the Janet planes on the night in question.Strange things continued to happen in the Needles area after the crash. No one seems able to locate Bob and many believe he has left the area. Toni Sagan, a member of the River Valley Democratic Club in the area, was questioned by a stranger at a club meeting after she appeared on the radio station to talk about the 2008 presidential race. The man wanted to know if she heard any off-air conversations between David Hayes and a witness to the crash he had on the phone. Toni said that she had never seen the man before and that he seemed out of place in terms of the way he dressed as compared to most people that live in the area.Although a public shows that at least one military helicopter was in the area on the night of the crash, there are no police, emergency, military or government agencies willing to offer any comments on the incident. Noted journalist George Knapp and members of the Channel 8 (CBS Network TV Affiliate in Las Vegas) Investigative Team say they have contacted "police agencies in three states, the Laughlin Airport, the weather service, the FAA and several military bases" asking for any kind of statement about the incident. All of them claim they know nothing about the crash.Based on the description of the object and the circumstances surrounding its retrieval, it is doubtful that the thing was a meteorite. It could have been space junk, but the fact that it changed speed and seemed under some kind of intelligent control makes that unlikely. It's possible that the object could have been some type of experimental U.S. aircraft, but given the descriptions that have been offered, it seems to be a bit beyond what even the best secret aircraft prognosticators have predicted we currently have available.Two possibilities remain that might explain what happened in the Needles area on May 14, 2008. One is that a UFO or spacecraft of unknown origin was tracked by government authorities to the point where it made contact with the earth. With retrieval teams standing by, the object was quickly removed from the area and any necessary clean-up was accomplished without much notice. I just flew back home from Toronto.(Boy, are my arms tired!) Pah-dum-pum!It was a whirlwind visit.I had received an email two weeks ago from a producer with Corus, the independent Canadian TV network. She wanted to know if I would be interested in being on a serious news program to be on a panel to talk about UFOs. I said sure, and then she gave me a call. She wanted to know, "Are you planning to be in Toronto next week?" In a word, no. She sounded disappointed, but that's showbiz.But it didn't end there. Talking with my wife about it, she suggested that we might be able to afford a trip to Toronto for me, and that while there I could meet with my publisher, visit friends, buy her a birthday present, etc. Naturally, I agreed. I went online, found a seat sale and booked the flight. I called the producer back and told her I could do it. Done.Then a few days later, I learned what the show really was about. The host, Arlene Bynon, an award-winning radio host, has her own TV series on iChannel, a cable all-news channel. The series, called "@issue" has been running for a while and tackles some heavy subjects as a rule. But apparently Bynon spoke with Steve Bassett of the Paradigm Research Group several weeks ago on radio, and was intrigued with the whole government UFO cover-up thing. So, she picked the topic: Aliens - Have they visited us? A group of notable scientists and researchers is presently petitioning Barack Obama's government to reveal information that confirms that Earth has been visited on numerous occasions by extra terrestrials. Join us on @issue as we look at whether E.T. is a hoax, or, if not, just what the ramifications of such an announcement might be.The guests would be myself, Steve Bassett, and the Hon. Paul Hellyer, former Canadian Minister of Defence. I had actually recommended Errol Bruce-Knapp, who lives in Toronto, as a guest, but they never called him at all. So, it had been set up to focus on Bassett's disclosure ideas before even asking me.I think many of you know that I'm not a fan of the whole government UFO disclosure thing. One of these is Paul Hellyer, who certainly was in a position to know about such things. He was even head of Defence when Stefan Michalak was burned by a flying saucer at Falcon lake in 1967, and the RCAF, USAF and other officials investigated.However, Hellyer says that at the time, he simply was not interested in UFOs, and therefore has no insight into what the Canadian military was doing about UFOs at the time.(Hunh?)However, after retirement, Hellyer was at his cottage in Muskoka one year when he found a copy of Philip Corso's UFO book The Day After Roswell as summer reading. He was riveted to the point he became impassioned.Among other things, as a former military officer in the 1940s, Corso claimed that he had been privy to top secret material about UFOs, including the underground installations where aliens from the crashed Roswell saucer were kept alive (and dead). Corso also claimed that when the Americans pored over the crashed saucer, they were able to use the technology to develop things like lasers, fibre optics, Kevlar, transistors, etc.The trouble is, Corso said a lot of things in his book that were not true or were outright wrong. He had the definition of a laser wrong, for example. Let alone the fact that lasers were already theoretically understood by physicists long before Roswell. Einstein's work laid the foundation for lasers and there were physics papers about them in the 1920s. Light transmission within tubes was demonstrated in the 1920s too.Corso made some wild claims about UFOs in his book, strange enough that most serious ufologists distance themselves from it. Like, the USA was at war with the aliens and managed to reach a peace pact.Hellyer spoke to a former general in the USAF and asked him about Corso's UFO claims. He was told "every word is true... and more." Of course, Hellyer refuses to disclose the name of his informant, to protect him. UFO SIGHTING IN CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE ON NOVEMBER 9TH 2013 - 4 LIGHTS HOVERING SILENTLY, ONE DEPARTS
My wife and I had left a cafe just before 10pm Saturday, 11/9/13, and were traveling north on US Hwy 27 through Chattanooga, TN. I noticed 4 bright reddish-white lights in what appeared to be a square formation apparently hovering over the (Tennessee) Riverfront area ahead, and called their attention to my wife. My first inclination was that they were candles sent aloft by helium-filled balloons, but it was quickly evident that the formation was too stable, it was not rising, and the lights were both too bright and too consistent to be candles. Large, public outdoor events are frequently held at the Chattanooga Riverfront, and my first thought was that the lights were in some way connected to an event in progress. We could see the lights while driving for almost a minute as we approached the bridge, and as soon as we reached the river and could tell that there was no event taking place, I immediately pulled our car to the "shoulder" about 100 ft. onto the bridge (which is over half a mile across.) I got out of the car and attempted to video record the objects with my Iphone. (The results were of poor quality and inconclusive.) As we watched, the objects were completely silent. They hovered in (what appeared from our viewing angle to be) a square, oriented almost due-north/south and due east/west, for approximately an additional 30 seconds. Then the southeastern-most light slowly departed toward the southeast, apparently in a gradual ascent, until it finally disappeared into the bottom of the cloud cover. The clouds were highly unlikely to have been lower than 800 ft. above the river (1400 ft above sea level), or higher than 3000 ft. above the river (3600 ft above sea level.) (Determined by known local elevations.) As the one light ascended to the southeast, the northeastern-most light slowly moved toward the south and then a bit west, leaving the remaining 3 lights in an inverted "check-mark" formation. After attempting to record the phenomena for approximately 2 minutes, realizing that the results were going to be poor, I decided to try and take still photos instead. During the roughly 15 to 20 seconds that I was looking away from the lights at my phone to re-set it from video to still mode, the objects disappeared. They had appeared to be rising, though barely perceptibly, when I looked away. The lights were in our constant view for over 5 minutes in total. I believe the low-level clouds were descending as fog (a common occurrence locally) and the lights disappeared into them. However, as bright as they had been, it would have been normal to expect a slight glow for at least a few moments as the lights would have been enveloped by the cloud, but there was no glow. We live in a regular flight path of the rescue helicopter from Chattanooga's large regional trauma center. We are very aware of the sound of a helicopter, even from a distance of one to two miles. These objects produced no sound, whereas 4 helicopters would have been obvious. Moreover, there was no rotor-reflection glow, and it is highly unlikely that 4 helicopters could have hovered in such relatively close proximity to each other. I looked for other reports of the incident but found none. Due to a hectic schedule, I failed to report the event in a timely manner. Recalling it today--10 days after-- I decided to record the incident while the facts are still fresh in my mind.

Mike Mackowski is a long-time space modeller and one of the main members of the online Yahoo 'Space Modelers' group. Over some years now, Mike has compiled seven hardcopy books especially for modellers on spacecraft topics, including titles for Gemini, Mercury and two volumes on Apollo, one for the Command Service Module and one for the Lunar Module. Now he has produced his first 'Tech Report', a series intended to be shorter and to be available only as a download, thus having the advantage that they can be in colour.
Skylab details
Tech Report #1.0 (TR1) is on Skylab, prompted by Mike's particular interest in America's first space station. Mike worked for a time at McDonnell Douglas in St Louis, where Skylab's airlock module was built. Previously he had spent time as a student at NASA's Marshall Spaceflight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, where the Skylab trainer was housed. He was also at Marshall when Skylab was actually launched in 1973.

TR1 contains images of the actual Skylab (perhaps surprisingly, not that many were taken) and many drawings showing schematics of what was a very complex object, especially when it came to the Apollo Telescope Mount (ATM) that once in orbit, had to rotate 90 degrees from its stowed launch position.

Somewhere up in Heaven, they're laughing. I was pondering what I'd cover in my next entry and considering doing a nice, positive spiritual piece, then something happened: a new Dolores Cannon interview appeared. Immediately, I knew that Spirit had handed me my next assignment. I get to be the one who offers the counterpoint to the kindly old grandma. How do I land all the glamour jobs?!?
Just when I thought I could stop writing about deceptions...
...they pull me back in!
It is necessary to contend with grammy, though, because her form of channeling has produced a number of books that paint a potentially misleading picture of the afterlife, which is a subject I'll discuss in a future entry. But for now, I'll dust off an entry I wrote about Dolores back on February 24 for the benefit of all the new readers. I've added a new update at the bottom and might add another after I listen to her most recent interview. Here goes....
I listened to a Dolores Cannon interview yesterday, and while it was as uplifting and positive as her interviews usually are, something just didn't sit right. She said that in all her work over the years, she'd never encountered anything negative, which struck me as an oversimplification if not an outright untruth. So I felt led to go to my bookcase and dust off one of my many unread metaphysical books, "The Custodians", which was written by Dolores.
Upon opening the book, I immediately came upon a relevant section. On page 259, she has a patient under deep hypnosis and is using her as a communication conduit to talk to an "alien." While discussing the practical precautions his species takes when abducting and returning humans, the alien goes on to say...
"Other beings sometimes do not return an Earth being. But that being probably would eventually expire after a short period of time. We prefer not to do that, because we are here to help. Some beings view human life in more animalistic terms, and treat a being as you would a cow. You know, perhaps dissect it for scientific reasons, just thinking of it as an unintelligent animal. Usually never to eat or anything of that nature, and they probably would wait until the being did expire before any type of such experiments would take place. But we honor the life here. We have made a commitment, in the council, to help the beings here, even though we are more advanced."
So the being with whom she is speaking specifically tells her that there are not-so-nice aliens who abduct humans, "usually" not to eat them, and who "usually" let them die before dissecting them like lab rats. I was surprised to see such information in one of her books because in her interviews, she makes it sound like there are no bad aliens, there is no Cabal, and all is peaches and cream.
Knowing that the thesis of the book is that alien abductions are misunderstood and are actually a positive phenomenon, I went to the front of the book to see if she addressed the dissonance. She did. On page 10, she writes about the aliens' reasons for abduction...
"I do not believe they are doing this for their purposes, but for ours. Of course, we have seen that there are several different types of entities involved, and there could be some negative types doing these things for their own gains. But I believe these are in the minority, the renegades or mavericks of the UFO groups."
In this passage, she says that there "could be" some negative types doing self-serving abductions, but the alien on page 259 "specifically states that there are"; "there is no "could be" about it". Based on her own personal beliefs, though, she ASSUMES (and y'all know what that means, dontcha?) unfriendly abductions are a fringe activity. That's a mighty big assumption, and it is the kind one makes when one desires to come to a preferred conclusion and is willing to gloss over evidence that runs counter to it.
Another thing that struck me was how she compared humans on the Earth to fleas on a dog. This is precisely the perspective expressed by negative aliens and their human minions, which indicates that her consciousness has been influenced by the entities she has been channeling through her patients. Hearing her make that comparison reminded me of another writer named Patricia Cori. In Chapter 2 of her book "The Cosmos of Soul", Patricia offers a message from the "Sirian High Council":
"...Gaia's primary disease is rooted in the excessive over-population. Like a cancer, the population is multiplying at astronomical speed, killing off the other healthy cells...
...The AIDS virus and others now being prepared in your underground laboratories are simply population control technologies designed to reestablish equilibrium in the body count of the planet.
If you can see beyond the horror of such widespread genocide, you may understand the bigger issue here. As man has altered the balance and the population has run amok, some huge catastrophe has had to occur to dramatically reduce your numbers, and this the governments of the world understand."
The whole "if you can just see beyond the whole 'genocide' thing, you'll see why you need to die" message really gave me a belly laugh! Much of the book sounded really good until I got to that part and saw the agenda behind it. I would argue that it is NOT the number of humans that is destroying the Earth; it is the nature of the sprawling, purposefully inefficient, consumeristic, greed-driven slavery system that is destroying it. And guess whose minions are behind the slavery system?
The dark ET/EDs dehumanize us and destroy our world with their exploitation systems, then blame us for the destruction and ask us to die. To them I say, "It's a clever trick, but it ain't happenin', space bitches. It is not 'man' who 'altered the balance'; it was the meddling of your own Cabal minions that unbalanced things." I'll write more on "overpopulation" and other unintended consequences of the Cabal's obsession with control and exploitation in another entry.
To get back to my point, though, the dim view of humanity expressed by Patricia and Dolores -- that we are a metastasizing cancer or blood-sucking fleas -- is characteristic of the thinking of our own "elites" and the ET/ED beings who pull their strings. While I don't think Patricia or Dolores are dark beings, they are certainly picking up strains of dark ideas from their undiscerning channeling efforts (and yes, "channeling" is exactly what Dolores is doing during her hypnosis sessions).
On page 248 of "The Custodians", when Dolores begins to establish communication with the aforementioned alien, she is specifically told by her hypnotized patient that what is occurring is channeling...
Dolores: "Would he be willing to share some information with us?"
Patient: "He wants to channel "through" me."
...And since the consciousnesses she channels offer consistent themes, express ideas that "sound" good, and can heal her patients' physical maladies, she has uncritically accepted everything they've told her. Speaking from my personal opinion, that just doesn't seem like a sound practice. And using one's patients as high-bandwidth Ouija boards seems a bit risky as well.
Does this mean that all the entities who come through during Dolores' sessions are bad guys? Not necessarily. I am careful to never discount ALL channeled material because if dark beings can use real or synthetic telepathy, good beings can too. I read all channeled material to which I'm led, but I don't uncritically accept anything it says. The environment in which we live "absolutely requires" constant discernment, and there is just no way around that.
As the physical manifestations in our world clearly show, there are dark beings about, and they have a plan for us. The low-level ones have been putting us in a very bad position so the high-level ones can show up and pose as heroes, and when they do, they'll be whispering sweet nothings and speaking 99% truth. They'll do this so you'll swallow the 1% lie that comes with it, and that lie is the poison pill that will really screw a person up. So in my thinking, it seems wise to sharpen my discernment, stand in my truth (even if others label me "negative" or "obstinate"), and learn to spit, not swallow (ladies, please teach your fellas how). In the end, those of the True Light who are fearless and unmoved by dark deception will be left standing.

Here is a blog written by another hypnotist who follows Dolores' methods. If you take a look through her various entries, you'll note how she transitions into flat-out channeling of an entity that poses as "God/Creator." The key difference between normal channeling and what she does is that she allows the entity to possess her hypnotized and suggestible patient instead of being possessed herself. Nice.
All this being said, the entities who speak through channelings and show up at rituals have been around for a long time and are known by many names. They are also known to be flatterers who appeal to one's ego, and who mislead and create mischief. Listen to them if you wish, but not with blind trust. They mix in a lot of fool's gold with the real nuggets, so sift well.
