Except that it was the worst thing ever... but [I have] nothing articulate or insightful [to add]. I thought I had taken better notes but apparently I was so amazed I had doodled numerous semi-psychotic renderings. Hey, maybe that's what I'll say.While I don't agree with the exo-politics movement in UFOlogy, I don't have anything against it. My issues with Ms. Harris's presentation isn't with her views on exo-politics (whatever those are; it was difficult to tell) but with her lack of coherency and her immense ego.Harris was introduced as "the Barbara Walters of UFOlogy," and that title was reiterated by Ms. Harris herself, but it became clear to me she isn't that, but I will say she's clearly the Sarah Palin of UFOlogy. So the talk begins, and I am telling you, it was the craziest, most disjointed, manic, ego-fueled thing I've been to. It was so bizarre and surreal that it was funny.While I'm not much for the exo-politics aspect of UFOlogy, which is what Ms. Harris is all about, I was interested in Harris's presentation for a couple of reasons. One, anything to do with UFOs (excluding the uber-psycho skeptics) I'm up for, and two, I was curious to hear about the San Antonio, New Mexico 1945 crash Harris promised to discuss.The presentation began with a montage of UFO images -- "sixty-one years of UFOs" Harris told us -- accompanied by Buffalo Springfield's Something's Happening Here. Instead of ending the introduction at that point, it continued with another slew of slides, this time accompanied by some kind of screechy space age music. Harris introduced the images by telling us it's "sixty-one years" of UFOs but it appeared to be 108 years, since the intro slide read "1870 to 2008." It would have been nice to have captions of the photographs; when and where the UFO image was taken, or how the illustration related to what sighting, but all we got were slides. After slides. After. Slides. And then there were the slides.After that overly long intro, Harris literally spent forty minutes talking about herself while showing several images of the book and magazine covers where she's appeared in print, as well as photo after photo of her with various UFO bigwigs. "Here I am with so and so..." she announced. Over and over. "FORTY MINUTES!" Literally. I timed it. I detected an undercurrent of, not racism exactly, but a cultural ignorance or maybe it was cultural superiority. (Surprising since she has dual citizenship and lived in Italy for many years.) She showed a slide of Israel, referencing that country's UFO sightings, informing us that "They talk Jewish over there." She showed slides of UFO researchers -- Jacques Vallee among them -- meeting with politicians in the Middle East and slides of the Muslim Brotherhood, and insinuated there is something insidious afoot about their interest in UFOs. We're not told why this might be so. This was one of the problems with her presentations: lack of support for her case. (The other problem: her huge ego.) Harris mentioned several times that she was a retired teacher, something I found simply astounding given her consistent rambling, incoherent, point jumping circus act. But, she did teach in an Italian private school and among her students were "Mel Gibson's kids," and other VIPS which Harris felt was a relevant bit of information to share with us.After more than forty minutes of It's The Paola Harris Show, she gets to the 1945 San Antonio, New Mexico (not Texas,) crash. More slides of places and people but with little context. It was such a rambling and nonlinear WTF mishmash I had no idea what she was talking about and I didn't learn anything about this case after her presentation. It was extremely disappointing.There was also a video of Philip Corso; the video got stuck and there we sat, listening to audio of Corso while Harris looked adoringly on; again, how it connected to what Harris was talking about wasn't made clear. (I noticed that Harris conspicuously did not mention Bill Birnes.)Harris finished with her "12 Protocols" of exo-politics which, it turned out, was really 9 protocols. Or maybe it was 7. At that point however I didn't give a damn how may there were. Besides, they weren't exactly "protocols" as in: don't use your salad fork when eating fish, but assumptions about the coming of the Space Brothers. The slide got stuck on number 1 and remained there; she either didn't notice or didn't care, and at one point said "It says there are 12 protocols but there's really only 9" which is where I was afraid to look at Deirdre O'Lavery who was sitting next to me, because I knew we'd both lose it.Glitches happen, but there were so many in Harris' presentation I had the impression there was no care taken; just a thrown up mess of stuff at the last minute. Even those technical errors could be forgiven if Harris herself hadn't been so inept. Take your pick: her massive ego, her incoherent presentation, her rambling, her lack of cohesiveness, the lack of support for her case, the lack of editing: put it all together and it was one bad, very bad, UFO lecture. I was entertained but that was inadvertent. It was a completely pointless presentation and absolutely embarrassing. And I've seen Stephen Greer speak, so that's saying something.

THE ROSWELL INCIDENT OF 1947. WAS IT HASTILY "STAGED" TO COVER SOMETHING ELSE?
In 1945, immediately after the end of World War II, the U.S. brought in many German scientists and engineers ("as well as some former SS intelligence officers") to New Mexico through a program called Operation Paperclip.
After arriving at Wright Patterson Army Air Field in Ohio, it is said that many were initially stationed at Albuquerque's Kirtland Army Air Field (present Kirtland Air Force Base). Some of the scientists and engineers were then trasferred to Los Alamos.
Some others were transferred to White Sands Missile Ranges.
Many of the German engineers played some significant roles in the development and testing of U.S. rocketry in the late 1940's.
The U.S. military also secretly began to test-fly several prototypes of unconventional, flying wing aircraft ("some with Ramjet engines") which the Germans developed in the early 1940's, including a few of the Horten brothers' flying wings.
It is said that one of the Horten brothers' flying wing aircraft may have reached even speeds of up to 600 miles per hour when tested in Germany in 1943.
It is said that, with the help of these scientists and engineers, the U.S. military secretly conducted these tests over the deserts of southern New Mexico in 1946 and 1947. Other flight tests may also have been conducted in wide areas in the Western states, extending from Washington all the way to Texas.
These prototypes of flying wing aircraft were basically crescent-shaped. Some others were delta-shaped or manta ray-shaped.
Accidental crashes of some of these craft may have necessitated the creation (and even "staging") of convenient "cover stories".
So, what actually did happen near Roswell, in July of 1947?
The bottom line is that there is no hard, tangible, solid, physical, irrefutable, documentary evidence that a physical, extraterrestrial spacecraft crashed outside of Roswell in July of 1947.

It is extremely difficult to conceive in my mind that any highly advanced extraterrestrial civilization, traversing through this vast space and arriving at our earth would even "crash".

Stephen Hawking, theoretical physicist and one of the most brilliant minds of our time, states that in this wide universe there ought to be civilizations somewhere else besides our earth.
However Stephen Hawking also states that no aliens have ever come or will ever come to earth in UFOs. (What Stephen Hawking was referring to was UFOs as physical alien spacecraft.)
The late Carl Sagan, who was also one of the most brilliant minds of our time, basically said the same thing.
If given a choice to choose between Stephen Hawking and "ufologists", I will definitely go with Stephen Hawking.
So, in conclusion, if there were indeed such a "crash" near Roswell in 1947, the only way it could have been a "crash" would have been if it were intentionally "staged".

Ok, so firstly id like to point out that this is my first time on this website (and realistically, any UFO website). dont get me wrong, i do believe that there is other life in the universe, ive just never witnessed anything to help clarify my belief. I was on my balcony looking at the sunset... there was some cloud, but not much. I live close to an airport, and regularly observe airplanes taking off and disappearing in the distance.. THIS WAS DIFFERENT! I was gazing across the skyline (there were about 4 airplanes in the sky, very easy to distinguish regardless of their distance to me.. suddenly a rocket-like aircraft caught my eye, miles away in the distance. Straight away it caught my attention as the distance it seemed to be moving didnt make sense as it was already very very high in the sky.. this thing basically was going up.. and yes UP! at first i asked myself if this could be a tiny cloud, but after about a minute i realized it certainly was not a cloud. this thing seemed to be going up for about 6 minutes travelling at quite a pace.. then poof, it disappeared through clouds... again, i do want to point out that i am not a regular UFO spotter, nor have I ever claimed to see a UFO.. i am someone who has no problem distinguishing an airplane, no matter how high it is or whatever! this is something i have never seen before, and im sure I never will again! my girlfriend was on the balcony with me, emailing her mother from her phone.I told her after 3 minutes, because i wanted to be sure that I wasnt seeing things or going crazy. As soon as i told her, and she began to observe it, she herself said, are we looking at a UFO. Im still in a little bit of shock about the whole event, as i am certain that what i saw was not a normal aircraft.

OCTOBER 8, 2005 KOTA KINABALU MALAYSIA On the morning of Saturday October 8 2005 my wife and I dropped my 18 year old daughter at school. It was about 6:50 am and we decided to go to a nearby beach to wait for the shops to open so that we can have our breakfast. We reached the beach just about 7 am. While at the beach we sat on the concrete steps facing to sea to the west. It was 7:05 am and the sun was already shining very brightly when my wife noticed something unusual on the water about 500 meters off shore and she brought my attention to it. What I saw looked like a strip of white wave breaking on the water surface and I told her that. However instead of moving towards shore, the 'wave' was moving across the water parallel to the beach away towards our left. She then asked me whether it was a dolphin instead, but I told her it was moving too fast for even a dolphin and probably way too big. The 'white strip of wave' by my estimation, was at least about 8 to 9 meters long. It was definitely not a boat either, because what I could see was just a strip of water breaking on the surface and nothing above. Now, the beach that we were at was right in the centre of a gentle bay with the Kota Kinabalu International Airport about 3 kilometers away to our left at the end of the bay. The moving strip of white water was moving towards the airport at a speed of maybe about 30 or 40 Kmh. After about 2 minutes and maybe a thousand meter from where we first noticed it, a grey/white craft broke out of the water right were the white wave was and it continued to move in the same direction except this time it was flying in the air. From what I could see, I could not make out any conventional means of propulsion that I know of, no propeller, no rotors, no jet exhaust and completely silent from where I was. While at the distance I could here the planes taking off and landing earlier, this flying vessel was totally silent. It flew straight towards the direction of the air strip and it flew low barely clearing the tree tops nearby and it went across the western end of the runway below the approach window which was facing the sea. After another couple of minutes or so the flying vessel disappeared in the distance. It never headed towards the skies, but in fact disappeared somewhere among the distant hills. I really could not find any explanation for this sighting that both my wife and I saw. Unfortunately I did not bring my camera and I do not have any proof whatsoever of this sighting. The were also no other witnesses although there were a few people jogging at the beach when this happened, but no one was looking out to sea while they jogged. I guess I was too shocked with astonishment to hail any of the joggers to bring their attention to the phenomena. Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?
